Whole Wheat Buttermilk Oatmeal Bread

PLACE IN BOSCH MIXER BOWL:

4 Cups Hot Milk w/2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice added
1 1/2 Cups Rolled Oats

LET ABOVE MIXTURE COOL SLIGHTLY (about 10 minutes), THEN ADD:

1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsp. Yeast
1 1/2 Tsp. Sea Salt
1/2 Cup Oil  (I use olive or grape seed)
5 Cups Freshly Milled Whole Wheat Flour

MIX TOGETHER UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE MOIST.

ADD 2 - 3 CUPS ADDITIONAL WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR OR UNBLEACHED BETTER FOR BREAD FLOUR.  ADD ONLY ENOUGH FLOUR TO MAKE A SOFT DOUGH WHICH WIPES THE SIDES OF THE BOWL CLEAN.  CONTINUE TO KNEAD FOR APPROXIMATELY 8 MINUTES ON SPEED 1 OR 2.  DOUGH WILL HAVE AN ELASTIC CONSISTENCY WHEN IT HAS BEEN KNEADED LONG ENOUGH.  COVER AND LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLE IN SIZE.  FORM LOAVES ON A SLIGHTLY OILED SURFACE AND PLACE IN GREASED (NOT OILED) BREAD PANS.  I USE A NON-STICK SPRAY.  COVER AGAIN AND LET LOAVES RISE UNTIL DOUBLE IN SIZE.  PLACE IN 350 DEGREE OVEN AND BAKE APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL NICELY BROWN.

This bread is delicious, slightly sweet, and has a wonderful consistency.  Great for toast, sandwiches, rolls, etc.  The oatmeal is great for your heart!  Enjoy!
